Back to Normal

Well, this place can shake you up some times, but it settles down just as quick.  I am thankful for the health and well being of all my units soldiers and their resilience.

I am still reading War and Peace, and continue loving every bit.  Many of the characters are very introspective, it is interesting to see how they react to changing life circumstances.

Breakfast on the Blue Light porch, a new ritual for us.  Mr H was kind enough to take this photo.

I know you can't believe your eyes, but sometimes we try to relax between shifts...

As you may know, you can't hear on a helicopter - it's too loud - so to communicate with the passengers the flight engineers write on white boards and show the passengers so they know where we have landed and they can get off if they are at their stop.  But why write FOB names when you can draw Mr S playing the Vibraphone?

I guess this is Army lingo for "Church"

Thank you for all your prayers - I really mean it! Sometimes, when I meet people who have no faith and mock the "stupidity"  of believing in God, I can't help but wonder if they ever ask questions that cannot be answered.
