I have decided to start a small blog for this adventure. Hopefully E junior (E.j) will be able to look at some pictures and make her smile once or twice. Maybe E wife (E.w) will be able to check in on what I am up to, if our schedules are not conducive. And maybe all my wonderful family can check it out to if they desire. My goals for the blog as are follows:
Positive Thoughts:

Prayer Requests:
Please pray for the safety of my company as they finish their time in TX.
- Post once per week at a minimum
- Post about positive experiences
- Express sincere thanks
- List prayer requests
- Include pictures
Lets begin it right then...
Positive Thoughts:
So far this adventure has been pure enjoyment minus the separation from my family. The training has been adequate, the sleep has been "un-parently" (sorry babe), the food has been consistent, and I have made time to work-out every day but a few. (I also work mind you! Many 14-18 hours days, but it keeps the time rolling.)
The showers in TX represent the pinnacle of human engineering - warm and fast.
Picture:
Below is a picture of a friend holding a ferrel hog that he and some folks caught - the funny look on his face was intentional - he is pretending to be a hillbilly in the photo. The animal had been caught inside the fence and was later eaten - just kidding, he released the little guy.
Thankful:
- I am so thankful for my wife who is bearing it out through my absence - you Rock!
- I am eternally indebted to my Sis-A for sacrificing for my family like no other could - I owe you a kidney.
- I am thankful for all my wonderful parents. Your generosity and support has given me peace of mind. You are wonderful.
Prayer Requests:
Please pray for the safety of my company as they finish their time in TX.
